Lucha libre is the soul of Mexican street culture.
This piece renders the iconic luchador mask across
two completely original physical layers — a
meditation on identity, power, and the ancient
art of transformation.
The top layer is a custom original vector artwork,
precision laser-cut in white hard plastic — the
mask form emerging clean and exact. This is not
a reproduction. The vector design is an original
work created exclusively for this piece.
Beneath it, on archival thick gallery paper, lies
the second original — the inner painting. Acrylic
paint, spray paint, stencil work, and hand-applied
silver leaf, built up by hand in the studio.
Internal LED illumination activates both layers
simultaneously. Blue and silver radiate through
the cut mask. The silver leaf catches and scatters
the light — cold, precise, alive.
Created in Mexico City. Rooted in the culture
of the streets.
Two original works of art. One object.
Infinite light.
